JOJO&MALOU IN STOCKHOLM

We have been in stockholm for almost a week now, having a great time!!
Went to see a concert with The Swedish version of Bruce Springsteen, Ulf Lundell(mAlous all time favourite)
Recorded a film for our ss10 collection with frode&marcus, our favourite photographers and filmmakers in the woooooorld!!!!
this film will be shown from the 12th of august for a month, during an exhibition we are creating at Urban outfitters here in town
We went to a friend of ours 30th birthday party on Saturday, it was in a childrens theatre, in the deep dungeons we found some great stuff!!

jojo&malou are back in town!

We are so sorry that you haven't heard from us in a while.

As you know, me, Jojo has just got married and been away on an amazing honeymoon with my beautiful man. While Malou has been on a relaxing holiday in our native Sweden, catching up with friends and family. But now we are back in buisness and we promise to blog like crazy again!

My wedding was the greatest day ever! Everything went to plan thanks to my amazing mother that did all the bookings and arranging before the wedding and Malou who organized everyone and anything that could be done the days before the wedding. Christine who was the wonderful toastmaster, Martine who did all the beautiful flowers, Malin and Marcus who took amazing pictures (I think, I havent seen them yet), all the super talented DJ's, the 3 best men, my Dad, Kalle, all the guests and my man who turned up and got married to me and who looked sooo handsome! Thank you everyone and thank you to the sun that popped out and shined on us all after three days of monsoon rain!

We have been photographed for the show me your wardrobe blog, jees, my whole bedroom turned into a jojo&malou wardrobe! and still does, since i have not had any time to tidy:)
Fun day though, i'd like to do that more often, can't wait to see the pics, think we will look like cute japanese friends in our matching outfits! Such a good look.

Can't wait, in about half an hour it's weekend, yes we are finsihing at 6 o'clock today, not very normal for us:)
It's bank holiday, the weather forecast looks amazing(at least on the BBC website, which is not always that trustworthy) and we are gonna have so much fun, party party!!

On saturady, we (13 ladies)kidnapped Jojo and took her for a fabulous day and night of mayhem!

The day included spa treatments at the sanderson Hotel, lunch at Kettners and limousine cruise around London town, proper hennight styleee!!
The evening finished with a Jojovision (Eurovision) party!

This moring, after a meeting we went to Spitalfields market on our way back to the studio, on saturdays, it's not very fun there AT ALL, but thursdays are great for antiques, random stuff and costume jewellery, I got myself these amazing sunglasses!

I went to tk max this weekend for some bargain hunting and I found these Vera Wang sunnies for a tenner! Malou is wearing Kling by kling sunnies that we found in the studio. They are from Klings latest collection clown. Check it out!

MEN

Went to Cargo for a good old bank holiday hangout all day and night yesterday, i had a delicious Halloumi pesto treat straight from the BBQ! yum yum!
So many of our friends were there, it was awesome!


JD Samson and Jo from one of my favorite bands Le Tigre was playing with their new band Men, they were mega! check out her hat!! we were doing all the hot moves along with them on the dancefloor!:) They are not on spotify though which is so annoying

Scatting rocks!

Went to Bethnal Green workingmensclub last night, It was awesome, I love dancing to 50's and 60's tunes, even Jamie kicked his shoes off and was sliding around on the carpet, backways:)
This man was singing/scatting (i love scatting, Me and my friend Ingrid has a scatting project going on;) and making his own version of old great tunes and Disney songs!

Day trip

Our inspirational day yesterday was really great! On our way there we bumped into Charlie, Our lovely friend and hairdresser, who was sporting a new hot blonde look! Portobello market is great, there are so many random things being sold there, should go more often really!


After trying on fantastic hats, shoes and laughing a lot, we had a nice lunch in the park with a freshly squeezed orange juice, yum!





So weird what people are selling, and buying!

city break

It is another beautiful day today, me and Jojo have decided to go to Notting Hill, We are hardly ever going to the other side of town, it will almost feel like a city break;)
Firstly though we are meeting for a coffee in Sho House, she is there exercising at the moment, whilst i am having my breakfast, no i don't feel bad;)... at all
We are going for research purposes, the market is great for vintage on fridays, and way too touristy and crowded on saturdays, I'm really looking forward to getting inspired!
